Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development, and Michael Schickhofer, Deputy Governor of Styria region, Regional Minister for Infrastructure of Austria, discussed cooperation ties between the UAE and Austria in the area of infrastructure during their meeting today.
Dr. Al Nuaimi hailed the bilateral ties between the two countries, emphasising the importance of sharing experiences in infrastructure development, owing to its vital role in promoting institutional action.
He briefed the visiting delegation about the coordination mechanisms between the relevant authorities at the federal and local levels in the UAE and highlighted the bilateral ties between the two countries, as well as ways to develop them to serve their mutual interests, especially in the area of infrastructure.
He underlined the importance of exchange visits and experiences and affirmed that the Austrian delegation's visited reflected the mutual keenness of the leadership in both the countries to develop bilateral ties.
Schickhofer emphasised his country’s desire to promote bilateral ties with the UAE, which is one of the leading countries in the world in infrastructure development, noting the importance of these visits to exchange experiences and view the best practices.
