The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) announced its golden sponsorship of the Bahraini Women's Day celebrations organized by the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) on December 4 under the kind patronage of the Supreme Council for Women President Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa. The SCW's Secretary-General Hala Al-Ansari praised the NBB contribution by sponsoring the Bahraini Women's Day functions organized by the SCW, thanking the Bank for constant cooperation with the Council and its supporting the empowerment of Bahraini women, inside the Bank, and even supporting women functions and programmes outside the Bank, and at the same time she expressed her delight towards the private sector shouldering its social responsibility vis-à-vis the Bahraini community as expected from all companies and establishments in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The NBB General Director Khalid Juma said that the Bank's, as part of its social responsibility, is keen to contribute in all initiatives in support of women empowerment programmes, pointing out that the Bank is delighted to become golden sponsor of the Bahraini Women's Day2013 celebrations organized under the auspices of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Wife of His Majesty the King, wishing them all success.
