Uzbekistan's economy grow 7.4% in 2013

Uzbekistan's economy is projected to grow 7.4 percent in 2013, said the World Bank in a report. The growth rate is expected to be 7.1 percent and 6.7 percent in 2014 and 2015 respectively, according to the World Bank's Global Economic Prospects June 2013 released recently. The International Monetary Fund said in its April edition of the World Economic Outlook that Uzbekistan's economy could grow 7 percent this year. Uzbekistan's economic growth has averaged 8 percent since the mid-2000s.
