Tunisia and Germany Tuesday signed two financial and technical co-operation agreements in water, agriculture, renewable energy, local development and youth employment.
The Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the signing of both agreements signal the completion of talks between the Tunisian and German governments held as part of the 11th session of the Review and Monitoring Committee, that took place in Berlin last July.
Germany pledged to mobilize 215.45 million euros that will be directed to job generation, support to local communities, sustainable agriculture and integrated water management as part of rural development.
The statement further stressed the bilateral relations between Tunisia and Germany, and the importance of bolstering ties across all sectors, especially developmental and economical.
