Qatar Charity (QC) and Turkish Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief (IHH ) signed here today a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation between the two sides in the field of relief and humanitarian.
The MoU was signed by Yusuf bin Ahmed al-Kuwari, chief executive officer of QC and Fehmi Bulent, President of IHH The note comes to boost the existing joint cooperation between the two foundations, said QC in a statement today.
Under the MoU, the two entities seek to exert medium and long-term endeavors so as to render their humanitarian objectives and to rationalize their different resources to achieve the best possible outcomes.
They also seek to exchange information and experiences so as to engage into joint initiatives.
The statement pointed out that the MoU comes amid growing humanitarian crises across the world and the prevalence of poverty on a large scale compared to the scarcity of the capabilities and resources a matter which make those who are working in the field of humanitarian work or in the field of development to exert more effort to achieve humanitarian and development goals.
