Prime Minister Sherif Ismail held on Sunday a meeting with the CEO of Siemens AG.
They discussed prospects of cooperation between the Egyptian government and the German conglomerate company to establish various power stations in Egypt, Cabinet Spokesman Hossam Qawish said.
Ismail praised the role played by the German company to provide training courses for Egyptian experts and technicians.
Talks are underway between the two sides to construct two factories for the manufacturing of railway carriages and components of wind farms, Ismail said.
Siemens is currently establishing a center to train 300 Egyptians, 100 of whom will be hired by the company, the German official noted.
He added that his company will equip the center with all needed devices.
