Russia's top non-ferrous metals producer, Norilsk Nickel, signed a $2.22 billion nickel sale deal with the Economic Cooperation Committee of the Chinese People's Friendship Society and to Beijing's Haowo investment company on Monday. The agreement was signed at a Russian-Chinese economic forum, where Huaxin trade and industrial company and Russia's Kayer and Ussuriysk Harvester Repair Factory also signed a deal to build a factory in Ussuriysk in Russia's Far East to produce 1,000 tractors a year.The forum will take place on Monday and Tuesday, when Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin arrives in China for a two-day visit.
