Egyptian PM Ibrahim Mahlab
Cairo - MENA

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met Tuesday directors of Danish companies operating in Egypt.
Danish Ambassador in Cairo Pernile Kerbel attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Mahlab explained the latest economic and political developments that took place in Egypt.
The current government was applying economic, legislative and administrative reforms, the premier told them.
The reforms aimed at encouraging national economy, providing attractive investment atmosphere and eradicating corruption, he added.
Mahlab asserted that the government sought solving the current investment conflicts ahead of Egypt's economic conference due on March 14-15.
Huge projects would be launched during the conference, Mahlab said, adding that Danish companies could participate in the event.
Mahlab asserted that these projects would raise Egypt's level of competitiveness.
On the other hand, Kerbel thanked Mahlab for his keenness to apprise the attendance of the latest developments in Egypt.
The Danish ambassador asserted her understanding of the Egyptian efforts to combat terror and the government efforts to push economy forward.
During the meeting, Mahlab answered questions over reforming the customs system and the government economic directions, Cabinet Spokesman Hossam el-Qawish said.
Also, Mahlab presented the available opportunities in Egypt in the field of energy generation, agriculture and logistic industries.
