Kuwait has donated USD 70,000 to an organization that preaches Islamic teachings in Nigeria.
In a press statement issued Tuesday, the Kuwaiti Embassy in Nigeria said that the Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Sharah has handed over Chairman of the Nigeria-based Islamic Waqf Society for Education and Guidance and Board member of the Kuwait-based International Islamic Charity Organization Ahmad Limu a check of the donation.
Ambassador Al-Sharah underlined Kuwait's eagerness to spread the true message of Islam.
For his part, Limu, also head of the IICO Bureau in Nigeria, expressed government for the government support to the organization.
He added that his organization spends the donation in spreading Islamic values.
