Unemployment in Germany rose for the fourth-consecutive month in November, according to the labor office. Germany's unemployed are now 15,000 short of being 3 million people. Some 10,000 became unemployed in November according to the labor office. Despite that, they say that the jobless rate was unchanged seasonally, remaining at 6.9%. German news agency (DPA) quoted Labor office Chief Frank-Juergen Weise as saying that "the labor market has remained in line with the developments of previous months." The office said it expected the labor market to stagnate in December. They also said that in seasonally unadjusted terms, unemployment rose by 5000 people.
