Thai Prime Minister Gen. Prayuth Chan-ocha
Phnom Penh - XINHUA

Cambodia and Thailand are scheduled to ink three deals during the official visit of Thai Prime Minister Gen. Prayuth Chan-ocha to Cambodia next week, the Cambodian foreign ministry said in a press statement on Friday.
"At the invitation of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, Thai Prime Minister Gen. Prayuth Chan-ocha will pay an official visit to Cambodia on Oct. 30-31," the statement said, adding that during the visit, the two leaders will hold a bilateral meeting and witness the signing ceremony of three documents.
The documents will be focused on the bilateral cooperation in tourism, eliminating trafficking in persons and protecting victims, and a railway connection between the two neighboring countries, it said.
According to the statement, during the visit, Gen. Prayuth will also pay a courtesy call on Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni and pay tribute to the statue of the late King-Father Norodom Sihanouk.
Gen. Prayuth was elected as the 29th Thai Prime Minister by the National Legislative Assembly in August, three months after his army seized power through a bloodless coup on May 22, toppling the civilian government led by deposed prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra.
