The Ambassador of Australia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Neil Hawkins has welcomed the visit to be paid to Australia by Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, to participate on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Group-20 Summit to be held in the city of Brisbane in Australia on November 15-16.
He said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), 'The Voice of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Group of Twenty reflects the Kingdom's important influence regionally and globally, and Australia recognizes the role of the Kingdom in the stability of the global economy.'
The Australian Ambassador expressed hope that the Crown Prince's visit will contribute to continuing joint efforts to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries and build a brighter economic future for all.
He pointed out that the bilateral trade in goods and services between the two countries has reached nearly $ 3 billion, and Saudi companies have invested about $ 5 billion in Australia.
The Ambassador noted that Australia is hosting 10,000 Saudi students and (6000 members of their families) who choose to study in world-class universities in Australia.
