Chairman of the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone Ahmed Darwish and SAIBANK Board Chairman Mohamed Naguib signed on Tuesday a cooperation agreement that would offer credit facilitation for investors.
Under the deal, the bank will offer technical advice and support for projects to be set up in the economic zone, Darwish said in statements following the inking ceremony.
He added that the agreement is meant to improve the investment climate and push forward the wheel of development in the economic and social domains.
The authority’s board secretary general, Naser Fouad, said the agreement falls within the framework of the authority’s keenness on offering the best banking and logistic services as well as contributing to rendering projects successful.
Several weeks ago, the authority signed a similar cooperation agreement with the CIB
