His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received the newly-appointed US Ambassador to Bahrain, Justin Hicks Siberell, at the Gudaibiya Palace today.
HRH the Prime Minister stressed the solid strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the USA, and the need to adapt in order to face the joint challenges and serve security, stability and development policies within the framework of the long-standing bilateral relations of constructive cooperation.
HRH Premier affirmed that the two countries’ partnership has been strengthened in light of the US Administration's understanding of the challenges facing the region, particularly regarding countries’ security and stability.
The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of enhancing bilateral relations and broadening areas of joint cooperation in various fields to serve common interests and bolster cooperation, based on the solid deep-rooted friendship relations between the two countries.
He also stressed the two countries’ shared desire to find new areas of constructive and fruitful cooperation between them at all levels.
HRH Premier reviewed with the US envoy the latest regional and global development, emphasising Bahrain’s keenness on enhancing cooperation with the International Community to face various challenges, particularly terrorism.
Ambassador Siberell expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his interest in enhancing relations between the two friendly countries in various fields, affirming his country’s keenness on and commitment to constructive and fruitful cooperation with Bahrain.
