Deputy Finance Minister for Fiscal Policies Ahmed Kouchouk said that the government is working on implementing an overall economic program that aims to reach sustainable development.
At a press conference to launch the third Citizen’s Budget for the fiscal year 2016-2017, Kouchouk said a plan was set to implement reforming measures that will help in reaching financial and economic stability via a balanced program that takes into account the social aspects.
He also added that the plan will work on increasing production as well as providing more job opportunities to enhance citizens’ conditions.
The government aims to enhance the services provided to citizens and also to establish a developed infrastructure and provide various and sustainable energy sources as well as give great attention to investment in human development especially in education and health sectors, he further said.
