AC Milan defender Gianluca Zambrotta insist he's not prepared to view the Serie A title-chase with his former club Juventus as being anything less than a right-to-the-wire affair. The Italian international full-back's current club face Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in the Dubai Football Challenge at Al Ahli's Rashid Stadium tonight (7.30pm), while Juventus, also here for a winter training camp, will play a friendly in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, against Al Hilal tomorrow. Both GCC excursions come before Italy's top two lock horns again on the recommencement of Italian league action, where after 16 games the pair are tied on 37 points. Exhibition games With the title race heating up, both AC Milan and Juventus have promised to field their best XIs, with the exhibition games aimed at buoying both sides before respective league clashes away to Atalanta and Lecce on Sunday. The friendly game between AC Milan and PSG will not only be the first for Carlo Ancelotti in charge of the French league leaders, it will also be his first against his old club Milan since leaving the San Siro for Chelsea back in 2009. Zambrotta said: "I'm a very experienced player and I know we have to wait until the end of the season because I've lost and won it on the final day. We have to wait for the last gasp as we know we are just in January." In 1999 Zambrotta, then with Juve, lost the league title on the last day of the season against Milan. But in 2002 Juve had their revenge on the other Milan club, Internazionale, winning the Scudetto on the final day. Meanwhile, with Barcelona, Zambrotta suffered a similar fate to ‘99, losing the title to Real Madrid in the last match in 2007. "I feel that Juventus for the first time this year after many years is like ‘my' Juventus because of coach [Antonio] Conte, who really has transmitted a new, winning mentality to fight until the 95th minute," Zambrotta said. "But we are the actual champions and we have more stars than Juventus. Like Ibrahimovic, Pato, Robinho compared to Buffon, Pirlo and Del Piero. Juve also play one game a week and don't play in the Champions League."
