London - Arabstoday

Queens Park Rangers striker DJ Campbell will be sidelined for up to eight weeks after suffering a suspected broken metatarsal in training. Campbell, 29, was due to start today's Premier League clash against Blackburn Rovers but manager Neil Warnock revealed the former Blackpool star had to miss the 1-1 draw as a result of the injury he picked up on Thursday. Warnock believes Campbell could be on the sidelines for up to two months if the broken bone requires pinning. "He had an accident on Thursday in the last kick of the training game," Warnock said. "It looks as though he has got a metatarsal problem so he could be out for a few weeks. "I think it will probably be longer than four weeks and he might have to have an operation. We'll know Monday."
