Bosnia-Herzegovina defender Mensur Mujdza has revealed that he requires surgery on a foot he injured during Tuesday's UEFA EURO 2012 qualifier against France and will be out of action for some three months. "The news is not very good. It's a bone fracture and I will have to have a break for two or three monts," Mujdza, currently playing for Germany's First Division side Freiburg, told the Sarajevo-x news portal. Mujdza was injured in a clash with French midfielder Florent Malouda in the 52nd minute. He continued to play for a few minutes but eventually had to go off. "Unfortunately I will not be able to appear in the play-offs. I will also miss the autumn in the German championship and will be back after the New Year," the 27-year-old Mujdza said. The surgery was to take place on Friday, he added.
