Bordeaux-Begles's French international fly-half Lionel Beauxis has been ruled out for several weeks after picking up a right biceps injury in training, the Top 14 club confirmed on Tuesday.
Beauxis, who has 20 caps for France, injured his arm playing against the club's youth team, leaving the pitch with his arm in a sling.
The 29-year-old joins Sébastien Taofifenua on the injury list after the 23-year-old prop dislocated his shoulder two weeks ago and will be out for three months.
The Top 14 season gets underway on August 22 with Bordeaux-Begles hosting Castres.
