The report also shows that there was a 44% increase in the number of students going to India, while countries like Israel, Brazil and New Zealand also saw growth in college travelers. Many schools will not support study abroad programs that allow students to study to countries with travel warnings. For this reason, some universities that hold to this policy have exchanged their international travel programs in Egypt and Syria with countries like Jordan, Morocco and the United Arab Emirates.
