Qatar is one of the fattest nations in the world Doha - Arab Today Qatar's Supreme Council of Health (SCH) is considering plans to include anti-obesity awareness studies in the school curriculum, the Peninsula newspaper has reported. "Plans are also afoot to make anti-obesity awareness studies a part of school curriculum," said assistant secretary-general of the SCH, Dr Faleh Mohamed Hussain Ali. The panel is coordinating with sectors like education, National Olympic Committee to curb the menace, he said. Last year, Qatar was revealed as the fattest nation in the world, with half of all adults obese and 17 percent of the population suffering from diabetes.
