Palestinain president condoles Qatari emir over demise of Sheikh Khalifa al Thani

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas sent a cable of condolences to Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani over the death of former Qatari emir Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad al Thani.
In the cable, the Palestinian president expressed his deepest sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the Emir and the people of Qatar.
The former Emir of Qatar passed away on Sunday evening, at the age of 84.
Sheikh Hamad served as the Emir of the GCC nation from 1972 till 1995.
