German Foreign Ministry Spokesman Martin Schaefer
Tehran - FNA

German Foreign Ministry Spokesman Martin Schaefer expressed optimism that the nuclear talks between Tehran and the world powers would yield results.
Speaking in Berlin on Wednesday, Schaefer expressed "absolute" confidence that a political framework on an Iranian nuclear agreement could be reached by March.
"We are of the opinion that it is possible to forge an agreement in principle by March. That's absolutely so," he said.
Asked whether Munich could be the venue for Iran nuclear talks on the sidelines of the upcoming Munich Security Conference (February 6-8), Schaefer stressed that although it is too early to say, if such a formal meeting at a foreign-ministerial level could be convened at such a date, he would not totally rule it out.
The 10th round of negotiations between Iran and the six world powers was held in Vienna from November 18 to 24, where the seven nations decided to extend the talks until July after they failed to strike an agreement.
The latest round of the nuclear talks between the two sides was held at the level of deputy foreign ministers in Geneva, Switzerland, on January 18.
The two sides decided to continue their talk early in February.
Both Iran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, Britain and France plus Germany) negotiators have underlined that cutting a final deal before the July 10 deadline is possible.
