The aid convoy "Miles of Smiles 10" has arrived in the Gaza Strip via Egypt's frontier Rafah crossing. Some 114 activists from Algeria, Egypt and Bahrain as well as Arabs living in Britain are part of the convoy destined for Gaza, which has been reeling under an Israeli oppressive land, sea and air blockade since June 2007, Palestinian sources told KUNA. The activists, mostly women, are going to stay in Gaza for several days, where they are to meet Hamas officials and members of parliament, and to tour the enclave, they said. The organizers of the Gaza-bound aid convoy challenge that they would not stop their efforts until the Israeli blockade on Gaza is completely lifted.
