In implementation of directives of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, on following up the needs of citizens of Buri village, Northern Governor Ali bin Abdulhussain Al Asfoor said the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning today commenced maintenance work in the four houses most affected by Buri explosion.
In a meeting held at the governorate comprised Works Undersecretary Ahmed Al Khayat, Assistant Undersecretary for Urban Planning Raed Al Salah, the governor said compensations that have been paid for owners of houses affected are under article (Fire compensation by Northern Governorate).
Al Asfoor added officials from Engineering and Investment Services Department and Information and Complaints Unit of the Northern Governorate, in addition to work teams of the Works Ministry attended this morning to finalize the Civil Defence reports prior to submitting them to the Interior Minister, who directed to promptly provide all means of support to Buri affected citizens.
He expressed appreciation of HRH Crown Prince’s directives on immediately launching maintenance work in the damaged houses.
