Chairman of the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission Dr. Khalid Toukan met on Tuesday with a delegation from the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR), currently visiting Jordan. According to a press statement issued by the Commission, Dr. Toukan reviewed with the delegation the mutual cooperation in the different fields of the nuclear energy peaceful uses, especially the nuclear research reactors, in light of Jordan's establishment of a nuclear research reactor in cooperation with Korea. Toukan also reviewed the standards followed in the Jordanian nuclear program, which are set by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and other nuclear safety institutes.
