Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa on Sunday received Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) president Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa accompanied by CEO of Shun Tak Holdings also Vice Chairman of China Chamber of Tourism (TCC) and Secretary-General of Global Tourism Economy Forum, Pansy Ho.


The Minister welcomed Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa and the visiting Chinese corporate official, hailing the tremendous efforts being exerted to boost the cooperation ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly People’s Republic of China at all levels, notably in Tourism and investment fields.

He noted that the two countries boast of distinguished positions and the availability of great opportunities, wishing success to bilateral efforts to bolster ties and create broader cooperation prospects for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples.

Shaikha Mai expressed sincere appreciation to the Minister for supporting BACA projects and activities which aim to highlight Bahrain’s civilizational and archeological monuments, affirming keenness to consolidate cooperation with all world countries. 

Pansy Ho also expressed delight to have met the Minister of Foreign Affairs and listened to his ideas on how to enrich bilateral development efforts and create broader fields for cultural and investment cooperation.
