Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, has held a meeting with Canadian Minister of Natural Resources, James Carr, to discuss the recent developments in the global oil market and the impact of the Vienna agreement on market balances.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA, the meeting touched on the roles of the Kingdom and Canada in making the Paris Agreement more ambitious in reducing emissions and promoting economic growth, as well as focusing on clean energy technologies.
Regarding to global oil market, the Saudi Energy Minister pointed out the importance of achieving the desired balance and stabilising oil prices to serve producers and consumers alike.
