Dina spent 2 months out of the public eye Cairo - Mohammed Alloush Egyptian actress Dina Abul Saoud misses her late father. “He used to be every thing in my life – responsibility, tenderness and love. After losing him I lost a big part of my life,” the star told Arabstoday in an exclusive interview. Abul Saoud is now hoping to find a man who reminds her of her father, who died two months ago. “I used to think aloud about my future husband. I hope he will have half of the characteristics of my father.” The star has spent the last two months away from the public eye but is expected to return with a new project, produced by Voice of Cairo and directed by Ahmed Nahass. Abul Saoud has meanwhile expressed her joy at reactions to latest series Bats, which was aired on Egypt’s Nile Drama satellite channel recently. “Releasing Bats outside of Ramadan worked in my favour,” she said. But the star warned about problems facing Egypt’s entertainment industry. “There is still a depression in the movie market here,” she claimed. “Many people can’t go to the cinema to watch a move with their favourite stars in – because of problems in the country at the moment.”
