Hong Kong's Center for Food Safety on Thursday urged people to stop consuming a batch of Doctor's Choice Evening Primrose Oil softgels, which was found to contain plasticisers. The product, manufactured by Captek Softgel International in the U.S., is the 40-softgel package with a batch number of OEO82OA and an expiry date of July 28, 2013, the Center said in a statement. A sample of the product was found to contain plasticisers, di(2- ethylhexyl) phthalate and di-butyl phthalate. The Center has instructed the trade to immediately stop selling the affected product.
