Secretary General of 'Support Egypt' coalition Taher Abu Zeid underlined the importance of municipalities' role in the Egyptian political life in the coming stage.
In press statements on Thursday, Abu Zeid stressed commitment of the coalition and national powers to national constants.
The coalition's legislative agenda will prioritize legislative reforms that would lead to improving the services offered to citizens.
Abu Zeid hailed the economic projects accomplished so far to maintain Egypt's national security.
Abu Zeid held a meeting on Thursday with Local Development Minister Hisham el Sherif and Transport Minister Hisham Arafat.
The meeting tackled the repercussions of the tragic Alexandria train crash and the government's plans for developing railways.
The meeting falls within the framework of
the coalition's plan to hold a periodical meeting with the cabinet members to follow up the progress realized so far in implementing the government platform.
