Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Majd Shweikeh, on Wednesday, discussed with a delegation from the Egyptian Central Authority For Organization & Administration, major accomplishments that have been achieved by the ministry with regard to e-government and services.
The minister also reviewed decisions taken to enhance the role of the ICT Ministry in drawing up policies for the ICT sector.
Shweikeh said the electronic transformation process is a participatory one that needs efforts of all parties, adding that this process was preceded by steps to institutionalize measures to facilitate the process of turning government services into electronic ones.
The Egyptian delegation is currently visiting the Kingdom to look into accomplishments made by the ministries of ICT and public performance development as well as their current and future plans in the e-government field.
