Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al-Khalifa, received Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs and Egyptians Abroad Khaled Youssri Rizk.
The meeting attended by the Ambassador of Egypt to Bahrain Soha Al-Far, reviewed relations between the two brotherly countries and issues related to cooperation, especially with regards to consular affairs.
This was the culmination of the official visits by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of Egypt, in which they discussed issues of common interest.
In a related context, another meeting was held to discuss the latest developments in the affairs of the Egyptian community in Bahrain, under the chairmanship of Assistant Undersecretary for Consular Affairs, Resources and Informatics, Khalil Yaqoob Al-Khayat. The Egyptian delegation was headed by Ambassador Khaled Youssri Rizk
During the meeting, they discussed the most important developments concerning the consular affairs of the Egyptian community in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Egyptian delegation praised the historical relations between the two countries, noting the prominent role played by Bahrain towards the Egyptian expatriate community.
The Egyptian delegation also valued the continuous cooperation and quick response by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on all the issues raised at the meeting, wishing further cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
