Egyptian Awqaf ministry has legal jurisdiction on all mosques

The Awqaf Ministry has the legal jurisdiction on all mosques, affirmed minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa.
The ministry is also assigned to issue permits for preachers and imams who take the pulpit in the mosques in line with regulations in place, added Gomaa in statements Thursday.
Permits for religious oration are issued in line with conditions put by the ministry and not to every Azhar graduate, he made it clear.
