Over 42 top-notch speakers and 1700 professionals from different parts of the world will gather at the 2nd Annual Radiology Meeting in the UAE (ARM) tomorrow, 5th of November, at Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Center.
Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Health Authority, the specialised and dedicated conference and exhibition for radiology and diagnostic imaging will continue until 7th of November 2017.
The conference agenda features 66 scientific sessions and lectures that will enlighten the attendees on various aspects of radiology and imaging, creating a great platform for knowledge exchange amongst conference participants and professionals in the field.
On this occasion, Dr. Abdulla Al Remeithi, Head of Radiology Society of the Emirates and Conference Chairman, stated: "This is the second time we hold this important medical gathering in the UAE, and first time in Dubai. We are delighted with the participation of highly skilled and world-renowned consultant radiologists and digital imaging experts, representing various specialised departments, universities and hospitals in numerous countries, to examine the latest discoveries, technologies and practices of this important branch of medicine; radiology."
Dr. Al Remeithi added that "This year the conference will discuss a multitude of sub-specialisations of radiology such as cardiac, pediatric, diagnostic, interventional and other types of radiology.
He revealed that "The conference will host for the first-time a parallel three-day session that will include a session on breast imaging, and two-day sessions for radiographers."
On the other hand, the exhibition attracts more than 40 participating brands in the field of radiology and diagnostic imaging to showcase their cutting-edge equipment and most updated medical devices used in the field.
