The DTV Shredder is a crazy contraption which has been designed and built by the young Canadian company BPG Werks. The DTV Shredder is basically a tracked skateboard which is powered by a small 15hp 4-stroke Honda go-kart engine. But with a weight of just 85 lbs (38 kgs) the engine is more than capable of making the DTV Shredder perform stunts, jumps and tricks. It can even tow a car! Top speed of the DTV Shredder is a scary 30mph, and if it wasn't for the sturdy carbon-fiber handlebar - fitted to the later prototypes - then staying on would be next to impossible. The handlebar also houses the throttle control and cutoff switch. To make the DTV Shredder easier to transport, the handle folds down to allow it to fit in the back of a car. The DTV Shredder features 3" of suspension travel, a four foot turning circle, and can climb a slope of 40 degrees. BPG Werks have also developed an unmanned remote control version which could be used for various military applications. Currently BPG Werks is accepting down payments for the DTV Shredder - with deliveries starting in the near future. If that sounds like your kind of thing, then they can be found at; bpg-werks.com.
