Cairo Airport
Cairo - MENA

Repairing an idle power plant at Cairo Airport saves 145,000 euros.

Cairo Airport Company hired an Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) technical team to repair the diesel-fueled plant which feeds a number of terminals, buildings and the runways at the airport, official sources at the airport said on Friday.

Knowing about the idle station, Cairo Airport Company's Chairman Ahmed Geneina held a phone call with AOI officials to hire the company's team to fix it.

The cost of repairing the power plant stood at 35,000 pounds only.
