Jordan’s Minister of State for Information and Liaison Affairs , the spokesman for the Jordanian Government Samih Maaytah said that the number of Syrian refugees entering Jordan is increasing noting that 4597 Syrian refugees entered Jordan during the last 24 hours. The spokesman added in a statement today that the substantial increase in the Syrian refugees’ flow into the country pushes Jordan to think of all possibilities, pointing out that the camps designated to receive the Syrian refugees in Jordan face great difficulty in accommodating the growing numbers of refugees in addition to pressures pud by these numbers in various fields, especially the economic ones. He called on Arab and Islamic countries, international organizations and the world to shoulder their responsibilities towards the increasing burden on Jordan and its financial and natural resources, which is reflected on the Jordanian economy and the services provided to the Syrian refugees.
