The armed Syrian opposition has said it held seven Hezbollah elements during clashes in southern Aleppo last week.

A source with the Syrian opposition told Russia Today a captive swap with the Syrian government and Hezbollah might occur at a later stage.

The hostages had light and heavy weapons on them, the source added
