Syrian activists announced Sunday that the Syrian Army war planes shelled areas controlled by the opposition in Homs and Daraa and Damascus neighborhood, Sky News reported.

The all-news network quoted the Syrian activists as saying that the Syrian government troops carried out intensive attacks by missiles and artillery fire on Qabon and Barza neighborhood on the northerneastern areas of Damascus.

Sounds of strong explosions were heard in the surroundings of shelled areas.
