Syrian Observatory for Human Rights

s many as 124 people were killed in different parts in Syria, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on Friday.

About 36 Syrian regime forces and 40 Daesh militants were killed in clashes that erupted in the outskirts of Palmyra city, the SOHR added.

The US-led coalition aircraft have targeted two Daesh vehicles that were passing by the road linking Deir Al Zor city to Al Hasakah city, leaving 16 elements of the terror group dead, the SOHR asserted. 

At least 14 Syrian regime forces and militants loyal to the regime were shot dead in clashes and bomb attacks in several Syrian cities and villages, according to the SOHR. 

Violent clashes are still taking place between the Syrian regime troops and Daesh militants in the vicinity and outskirts of Palmyra city in Homs province, the SOHR stressed.

The SOHR also reported casualties in the clashes between the two parties.
