Fierce clashes broke up between the Washington-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SFD) and Daesh terrorists in eastern Raqqa city, leaving many dead and wounded, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Saturday.
Under air cover provided by the US-led coalition jets, the SFD continued pushing deep into Raqqa, the de facto capital of Daesh militants, and took control of a number of districts there, Alhurra channel reported.
More than 600 Daesh terrorists have been killed over the past week by 452 air raids on Aleppo eastern countryside, Russia announced on Friday.
