The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said on Saturday they found an arms and ammunition depot affiliated to Daesh terrorist group in Raqa city.

The depot was found in al Firdous neighborhood near the municipal stadium while clashes between the SDF and Daesh are still ongoing around the stadium, al Hurra channel reported, quoting SDF sources as saying. 

Fierce clashes have erupted between the SDF and Daesh in southern al Soor town in Deir Ezzor.

the SDF announced earlier that they have taken control of five villages in the town of Merkada in the southern outskirts of Hasaka province, Daesh last stronghold in the city.
