Dozens of Syrian regime troops have been killed during clashes with rebels near Barzeh district, Damascus.

Barzah clashes inflicted heavy losses on both regime forces and allied militants, Sky News quoted sources as saying on Saturday.

Meanwhile, regime forces pounded Qaboun district in Damascus as clashes erupted between rebels and regime forces on Damascus-Homs International highway.
