The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that armed opposition in Syria shelled regime-controlled areas in Aleppo, killing at least 20 people in the country's largest city.
Meanwhile, scores of people were killed in air strikes carried out by regime forces against rebels-held areas in Aleppo, the London-based observatory added.
Frequent violations of ceasefire deal by both sides has ignited fighting in Aleppo, doubling threats of collapsing the cessation of hostilities treaty that was reached in February.
