Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) reported a death toll as 44 during operations staged by Assad regime\'s military forces on the opposition in several provinces of Syria. London-based SNHR announced on Monday that 27 people were killed in the Syrian capital Damascus\' suburbs, 4 in Homs, 3 in Aleppo, 3 in Latakia, 2 in Idlib, 2 in Deir ez-Zor, 2 in Hama and 1 in Daraa provinces during air and land operations by Assad regime\'s forces. Syrian Revolution General Commission (SRGC) also stated that the communication was cut and the electricity went off in Al-Qabun and Yarmouk districts of Damascus, adding that the regime forces bombed the suburbs of Yalda, Douma, East Ghouta, Daraya and the southern Damascus. Pointing the heavy street clashes between the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and the regime forces, SRGC also reported blasts in Khalidiya district of the central province of Homs. SRGC stressed that the Khalid ibn al-Walid Mosque was damaged and many houses and shops were destroyed in attacks.
