Daesh militant group executed more than 116 civilians in two villages in Homs before it lost control over them to the Syrian forces, according to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

In 20 days, the militants executed at least 116 civilians in reprisal killings, director of the observatory Ramdi Abdel Rahman said.

The locals found the bodies in the streets after the Syrian forces took control over the two villages on Saturday.
