Up to 11 civilians, including eight children, were killed in Syria after international coalition warplanes targeted Daesh's stronghold in Raqqa, director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) Abdurrahman said on Friday.

He added that clashes have erupted between the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces and Daesh militants since December 30.
