Fans of Lebanese star, Najwa Karam, are impatiently awaiting the release of her newest album as well as her concerts that she has lined up for New Year in Sweden, Germany and France
Longtime fans of the diva are well aware that their beloved singer selects only the best musical hits for her albums, after she decided to postpone the release of her newest album to add two new tracks.
Karam has been in the studio lately with Egyptian composer, Tarek Akef, who flew specifically from Egypt to oversee the work on the album, alongside maestro Eli Al-Olya, a friend and trusted colleague of the star.
The two songs are in the Lebanese dialogue, and were composed by Josef Joha. The album is expected to be finalized in around one month, but the date of the release has not yet been set.
As for the decision to add the two tracks to the album, Karam tweeted that she could not deprive herself of these songs, which are currently being worked on, and wanted these songs to be among the previously recorded tracks.
Meanwhile, the singer is preparing to shoot for a new song on her upcoming album with Lebanese director, Fadi Haddad. This is a new collaboration between the two after a series of previous collaborations.
As for concerts, Karam is scheduled to have two new shows at the end of this year to celebrate the Christmas holiday. The first will be held in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, on Dec. 23, while the other will be held in Dusseldorf, Germany on Dec. 25. Karam will then sing on the historical Olympia stage for the Arabic community in Paris on Jan. 6, 2017.
