Iraqi security forces gather near a temporary bridge south of Ramadi, Anbar Province

Forces at the Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service killed on Sunday a prominent leader in the Daesh terrorist group in the eastern neighborhood of Aden.

In press statements, commander of Nineveh Liberation Operation General Abdul Amir Rashid said that forces at the Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service killed the Wali of Daesh and terrorist Marwan Hamed Saleh along with a number of other terrorists. 

Iraqi army soldiers, backed by pro-government fighters from Popular Mobilization Units and Kurdish Peshmerga forces, launched an operation on October 17 to retake Mosul from the Daesh terrorists.
